Job Title: Director of FP&A

Location: Denver, Colorado Metro Area

Work Schedule: 5 Days On-Site

Compensation: $160,000 - $175,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview

Our client, a fast-growing company in the Denver Metro Area, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. The Director of FP&A will be crucial in aligning financial strategies with business objectives and driving company growth. The candidate will work on-site 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
• Provide data-driven insights and financial recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and business objectives.
• Manage the capital allocation process, conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or in a senior financial leadership role.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong track record of providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.
• Experience with M&A activities and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
