Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in SQL Server programming, MS-BI development tools, and Power BI. The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for creating and optimizing and developing complex reports, and providing support for reporting team.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop lobbies (dashboards), quick reports, operational reports and SSRS reports in IFS Cloud ERP
Design and develop Cognos reports in UKG Pro environment, including tabular reports, charts, dashboards, KPIs and graphs.
Assist in developing SSIS and BOOMI packages for data transformation and ETL processes interfacing with UKG Pro and IFS Cloud environment
Create and publish Power BI reports and dashboards.
Provide performance tuning and query designing support to team members.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6 years of experience in MS-BI development tools including SSRS, SSIS
4 years in interfacing with restful interfaces and utilizing JSON
3 years of working with ERP systems with emphasis on functional knowledge of cost accounting and service management components
1 years developing IFS Cloud SSRS reports, Cloud quick reports and operational reports
2 years Power BI, including creating DAX queries and generating computed tables KPI's, data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI.
Demonstrable analytical skills and capabilities interfacing with users
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical database and restful interface issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills :
IFS ERP cloud experience or strong ERP cloud experience with focus in Financial, Cost Accounting and Service components
Proficiency in Microsoft SSRS
Proficiency with Microsoft and Oracle databases, T-SQL, PL-SQL and SQL
Proficiency in interfacing with Restful interfaces and utilizing JSON
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel incorporating Macros, Power Query, and Graphs / Charts
Capable in Microsoft SSIS or Boomi
Experience with Cognos reporting tool
Capable in utilizing the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps)
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and designing data schemas following the star schema format.
Familiarity with industry-accepted testing methods and coding standards.
