- The Certified Respiratory Therapist is an entry-level practice therapist, with basic assessment and therapeutic skills in multiple patient populations, areas, or age groups. Administers basic respiratory care therapeutics and diagnostic services. The position requires the ability to respond promptly to changes in workload and adjustment in assignments as needed to achieve optimal productivity, efficacy and quality patient care.
- Minimum Education
- Associates degree or Grandfathered into CRT program by NBRC
Minimum Experience- Less than one year accepted
Required Registration/License/Certification- Current Alabama State license
- CRT credential from NBRC within 6 months of hire.
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 12 months of hire
- RRT eligible
Preferred Education- Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from a CoArc accredited program
Preferred Experience- 1 year Respiratory Care experience preferred
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- RRT, RPFT, ACCS, NPS, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
