- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Registered Nurse functions as a healthcare provider who,working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician performs prescribed noninvasive cardiovascular procedures and stress testing (both Nuclear Stress, Dobutamine Stress and Echo Stress testing), Performs conscious sedation during Transesophageal echo.Call will be required when cross-training in the Stress Lab (17530) is completed.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Associate degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience- N/A
Required Registration/License/Certification- BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
- ACLS must beobtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
- Registered Nursing License.
Preferred Education- Bachelors or master's degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience- One-year hospital experience, with Strong knowledge of electrocardiogram.
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- N/A
Other Requirements- Call will be required when cross-training in the Stress Lab (17530) is completed.
