- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Infusion Center RN at Spencer Cancer Center specializes in the monitoring and safe administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy to oncology patients and infusions related to hematology. This nurse is ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Provider trained and utilizes evidence-based practice with a focus on safety, infection control, and performance improvement.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- ADN
Minimum Experience- 2 years of nursing experience in an oncology setting or completion in an internship/fellowship in oncology
Required Registration/License/Certification- ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
- BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider Trained within 6 months of DOH/Transfer
- Registered Nursing License
Preferred Education- BSN
Preferred Experience- 2 years oncology or ICU nursing
Preferred Registration/License/Certification- OCN
