- Paid time off, holidays, Health, Dental, Vision, and retirement plan match after 1 year of employmentMake a difference in the lives of patients : As a Dental Assistant, you will work with several dentists and dental hygienists and provide chair-side skills, observe, and apply infection control and laboratory protocols, and assist with basic principles of taking x-rays.
- Sterilize dental instruments in adherence to all licensing and accreditation protocols
- Prepare room and instruments for the anticipated / scheduled dental procedures.
- Prepare radiographs for viewing / diagnosis by Dentist.
- Assist Dentist with instruments and tasks at chair side.
- Assure operating methods and materials in the Dental Area are following OSHAs blood borne pathogens and hazardous material standards.
- Assist hygienists when needed.Qualifications :
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board as a certified dental assistant preferred.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
