Dental Operations Manager
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Dental Operations Manager to lead our Dental Center team in our Newport, RI location.
Position Overview
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive dental clinic operations, ensuring excellence in patient care, administrative efficiency, and team performance across stationary and mobile dental facilities. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior patient care while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee daily administrative and clinical operations for the dental practice
- Implement and monitor existing operating policies aligned with state and organizational guidelines
- Manage current staffing levels and scheduling
- Track and report provider productivity through regular schedule analysis
- Ensure facility safety, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee financial operations including collections and billing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical/dental office management experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of medical/dental billing and collections
- Proficiency with EMR systems (NextGen preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to existing systems and processes
- Strong change management and transition planning abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
- Clear communication skills for managing transitional periods
- Demonstrated interim leadership experience preferred
