What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independently Licensed Adolescent Therapist position at East Bay Community Action Program?
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has an immediate full time opening for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to work with adolescent population with mental health and mild substance use disorders. RI. Provide intake, brief individual therapy (3 months), and DBT psychoeducational group therapy to East Providence High School Students in an integrated medical/behavioral health environment at our School Based Health Center. Group therapy to take place on site in the high school. Work collaboratively with families, EPHS administration, and staff. 40 hours per week in-office. Follows school calendar with summers and school vacations/holidays off. Caseload average is 35 Individual clients plus groups. Weekly productivity target is 25 individual/group kept appointments.
Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related social services field. Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW, LMHC).
