What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Support Head Start position at East Bay Community Action Program?
East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time Site Support Staff for our Head Start Program at Mary V. Quirk School in Warren, RI. Head Start is an Early Childhood Education program for children aged birth to 5.
The Site Support Staff plays a versatile role in coverage of several areas, such as the kitchen, front desk, and/or in the classrooms. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver meals and snacks to the classrooms, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and communicate with the caterer as needed. Under the direction of the Nutrition Manager, the Site Support Staff must follow all food handling procedures as well as food allergy protocols. The Site Support Staff will also provide a presence at the front desk and in classrooms, as necessary.
A Food ServeSafe Certificate is preferred but not required.
