Education Specialist

You will
- Lead, handling an IEP caseload and coordinating IEP design and implementation through a push-in model of support.
- Manage, tracking, monitoring, and documenting student progress.
- Collaborate, partnering with the classroom teachers, instructional aides, and families to support students.
- Engage, serving as an advisor for a group of students, and attempting to know every student at EBIA.
- Grow, expanding your practice with the support of the Director of Student Support Services.
- A teacher credential in Special Education.
- Experience engaging students with insightful and innovative learning strategies and supports.
- A commitment to equity and a belief that diversity is essential.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to create and iterate, to adopt new technologies and to blaze trails.
- Experience with project based learning, social-emotional learning, and/or blended learning
- Experience teaching support classes in literacy or math skills
- A maker-builder mindset
- Knowledge of another language
- A Masters degree
