Provide training and support to individuals with disabilities at work settings or internship sites, including External Situational Assessments and Personal Vocational Social Adjustments. Assist consumers with vocational evaluation and planning. Assist with task analysis for new work sites, development of assistive tools, and outreach. Review reports monthly.

About this Position:
The Supported Employment Coordinator would supervise and support a team of Job Coaches. Communicate with Case Managers and families regarding support plans. Assist consumers with vocational evaluation and planning. Assist with task analysis for new work sites, development of assistive tools, and outreach. Review reports monthly.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services (exceptions can be made by Executive Director)
- A minimum of five years experience in service provision to individuals with disabilities
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, between 8:00AM-6:00PM.
- Additional weekend availability as needed
- Moraga, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville.
- Possession of a valid California driver's license, a driving record that meets agency standards, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle
- $31.35 per hour
- Provides direct services to clients as needed including job coaching, pre-employment skills training and advocacy
- Assists clients to perform new tasks once employed or within internships to maintain benefits (if desired) and employment as well as understand the impact of wages on benefits
- Provides support, training, supervision to job coaching staff in all areas of job coach responsibilities. Includes but not limited to IHSP’S, monthly progress reports, assistive tools, ISP’s, case note writing, monthly billing and special incidents
- Assists to develop vocational sites to provide External Situational Assessment. Completes authorization requests and final reports
- Serves as liaison to the consumer's circle of support (i.e. involved family and friends)
- Serves as liaison to the consumer’s employer, Dept. of Rehabilitation counselor, regional center case manager and other service providers
- Sets up files, performs filing, updates files and mailing lists for consumers and supports
- Attends all required training and staff meetings as assigned
- Other duties and admin support as assigned
