Job Summary
We are an HVAC Contractor seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver and Yard Worker to join our team. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment safely.
Responsibilities
- Make early morning deliveries to jobsites throughout Long Island and/or Metro NYC.
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Operate yard equipment and vehicles, including flatbed trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the yard.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
-Previous experience in commercial driving or truck driving is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- CDL a plus but not required.
- Knuckle boom experience a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
