Coaching at Bay Oaks:
Bay Oaks is the premier club for player and coach development, offering a competitive program within East Bay United Soccer Club, serving Oakland and its surrounding areas.
The club competes in the USYS various Cal North Competitions & the NorCal Premier Soccer League at various levels, including NPL and ECNL-RL, starting with the U8 Bay Oaks Academy and extending through U19 Boys and Girls teams.
Additionally, EBUSC offers a Junior Program for U5-U8 players, while the EBU Recreational program caters to players aged U10-U19 seeking a more casual experience.
Bay Oaks is seeking a coach whose key responsibilities include:
- Leading 2-3 training sessions per week during the season
- Preparing teams for game days and managing them during matches
- Planning, communicating, and managing team operations
- Completing player evaluations
- Attending Bay Oaks Coaches Clinics and pursuing development opportunities
Ideal candidates should:
- Have previous coaching experience at the club level
- Possess experience as a player (club, college, or professional)
- Hold coaching licenses or certifications
- Have strong communication skills
- Align with the club’s coaching philosophy
- Be mobile and have a vehicle and be local.
- Be authorized to work legally in the U.S.
- Be passionate about contributing to player development at all levels
