Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain student records and databases
- Oversee the registration process and ensure accuracy of student data
- Implement and enforce institutional policies and regulations related to student records
- Collaborate with academic departments to coordinate course scheduling and academic planning
- Provide support for graduation processes and certification
- Assist with transfer credit evaluation and articulation agreements
- Conduct regular audits of student records to ensure compliance
- Facilitate communication with students regarding registration, graduation, and academic policies
- Generate statistical reports and analysis related to student enrollment and academic performance
- Develop and implement efficient and secure record-keeping systems
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in student record management
- Collaborate with other administrative offices to support student services and institutional goals
- Participate in institutional committees and task forces related to student records and academic policies
- Train and supervise staff responsible for student records and registration processes
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field
- Previous experience in student records management or academic administration
- Strong knowledge of FERPA and other relevant student privacy regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in student information systems and database management
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities and experience in supervising staff
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and institutional needs
- Familiarity with academic policies and procedures
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
- Certification in student records or higher education administration (preferred)
Salary : $40,000 - $70,000
