East Cambridge Savings Bank’s Information Technology Division is actively recruiting for a Network Coordinator.
Function :
Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager, perform a variety of Information Technology Department related activities and administrative functions including first line support for user support requests and issues.
We are looking for a candidate with :
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a systems environment or related field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through specialized coursework and training
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Automation Toolkit (Office 365)
- Experience with VM Ware preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Windows server and active directory experience required
- Experience with physically setting up and transporting IT equipment (i.e., hardware, printers, etc.)
- CompTIA Security Certification or equivalent preferred
Essential Job Functions :
Responsible for the monitoring / maintenance of the Bank’s hardware and software, including PCs, servers, patches, upgrades, and backups.Responsible for the monitoring / maintenance of the Bank’s active directory (Windows) including account maintenance, security group maintenance, printer maintenance and backup. Maintain appropriate documentation.Keeps abreast of IT related systems, techniques, and technology. Coordinate and implement needed hardware, software, and communications to ensure that Bank technology remains current. Conduct equipment and product research and make purchase recommendations as needed.Maintain Teller / Platform program’s password file, authorization levels, program upgrades, and customization of Platform data and forms.Conduct research projects relating to current and anticipated automation needs, system maintenance, and applicability of systems to Bank operations.Analyze third party software for compatibility, compliance, and usefulness and make recommendations to the Information Technology Officer.Provide technical support on PC Network. Follow up to resolve hardware and software problems.Ensure compliance with IT Security procedures and documentation of state and federal regulations. Maintain Department procedures manual.Organize and catalog system hardware and software.Assist employees Bank-wide with general information pertaining to the IT function. Respond to user queries, answers questions, and resolves hardware and software problems. Customize internal computer systems as needed.Manage daily activities through the Tracklt Help Desk system. Coordinate helpdesk efforts. Diagnose, identify, research, and resolve technology issues. Request support from other members of the IT Team when needed.Provide user support and roll-out of new desktops, laptops, and software, coordinating tasks with other IT team members. Assist in the relocation of PC equipment as needed.Add users to Active Directory and Microsoft 365 suite of productivity tools.Support the Bank's cloud based VOIP phone system. Place service calls and follows problems through to completion.Supportive Functions :
