Summary
As an RN Field Supervisor, you will lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing top-quality patient care. With core skills in management, catheterization, and IV insertion, you will oversee and coordinate nursing activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety. Your premium skills in critical care experience and team management will be instrumental in handling complex medical cases and fostering a collaborative work environment. Leveraging your relevant skills in health coaching and specimen collection, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare services. DUTIES
1. Conducts admissions and assists families/clients in putting together resources to optimize home environment
2. Perform 90-day supervisory visits in timely manner as per policy
3. Informs physician of any medical needs of client and documents per policy any change of care
4. Teach, supervise and counsel in home aides and clients and family members about the provision of care for the client at home.
5. Assists with QI-chart audits as assigned by Director of Nursing
6. Maintains current CPR and First Aid training and Blood Borne Pathogens
7. Attends scheduled training/workshops to enhance necessary skills to deliver quality services.
8. Follows Clients’ Bill of Rights; Confidentiality/HIPPA Guidelines; ECHC Policies and Procedures
9. Conduct annual assessments and reassessment for clients and complete annual client survey.
10. Skills check off to be done on workers every year.
QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS
1. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a Diploma, AND or BSN
2. Has a license as a RN in North Carolina that is current and in good standing
3. Positive, dynamic, team-oriented, empathetic listener
4. Flexibility in scheduled work hours
5. North Carolina Driver’s License
6. Reliable transportation and personal care insurance
7. Excellent organizational skills
8. CPR/First Aid Certified and Blood Borne Pathogens
