Job Description |
ECU Department of Student Involvement and Leadership is currently seeking Central Ticket Office Assistants. This position supports the functions of the Student Centers by providing services in the Central Ticket Office. Central Ticket Office Assistants are directly supervised by the Director of the Central Ticket Office with additional direction from the Administrative Support Associate. The Central Ticket Office Assistants are expected to fulfill the following general roles and responsibilities: * Cash Handling: Be able to accurately reconcile funds taken in through sales in the Paciolan Ticketing system during point of sale transactions. Follow all established rules and procedures with regard to handling payment card information both in person and while processing mail and phone orders. * Technical Skill: After training, operate the Paciolan ticketing software, and handle minor issues with ticket printers and ticketing software before escalating them to the supervisor. * Clerical Aid: Be able to maintain logs, answer telephone calls, and relay messages appropriately if contact from a supervisor is required. Process outgoing mail according to established procedures. * University Representative: Represent Student Involvement & Leadership as well as East Carolina University professionally and with a positive attitude. Handle inquiries not only about ticketed events on sale but also other questions from faculty, staff and students at the Central Ticket Office and performance venues. |
