Position Summary
The Director of Recruitment & Admissions is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment
strategies that drive successful conversion of prospective students to admitted students while providing leadership and
direction for university admissions operations.
Essential Job Duties
• Create and manage recruitment calendars including department events, travel circuits, tours, and college fairs.
• Develop and execute campus recruitment events including facility planning, marketing, registration, and logistics
management.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Admissions & Recruitment team members while establishing goals and
performance benchmarks.
• Oversee institutional scholarship programs including calendar management, applicant review, and award
administration.
• Collaborate with Marketing Department to develop comprehensive recruitment marketing strategies across all
platforms.
• Manage territory assignments and event coverage for recruitment staff.
• Monitor and analyze recruitment and admission trends to inform strategic planning.
• Coordinate with campus partners to ensure alignment of recruitment initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience; Master's degree preferred
• 2 years of managerial experience preferred
• Experience in higher education recruitment and admissions
Licenses/Certifications
• Valid driver's license

• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in team development and personnel management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
• Proficient in analyzing recruitment and admission trends to inform strategic decision-making
• Strong project management skills with ability to plan and execute large-scale events
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example
• Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
• Ability to communicate in a courteous manner

Supervisory Responsibility
Oversees the work of experienced professionals and subordinate managers, removing obstacles within and across the
organization to achieve objectives. May oversee the development of new methods, resolve issues, and regularly advise
teams on complex matters.
