Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing products securely and accurately labeling them for delivery.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload products safely.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment by ensuring all items are properly stored and labeled.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to fulfill online orders efficiently.
- order picking, ensuring timely preparation of customer orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred.
- Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
