What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Project Manager position at East Coast Believers Church?
The Creative Project Manager is the lifeline of our Creative Team. Well-organized and flexible, they have the ability to work with all levels of staff and vendors and possess strong project management abilities. The Creative Project Manager is pivotal in keeping projects moving internally and managing the Creative Director’s vision and department expectations. They will engage with the Creative Director and department head to gather information and understand the overall direction of the creative request. Proactively work to move the Creative Team members toward completion of project deliverables and support the team in various administrative activities by building project schedules, forecasting hours for projects, coordinating with different teams to ensure that projects start and finish on time, that the department head and Creative Director have reviewed and approved on time, and deliver the project once completed. They will help create efficiency by thinking ahead, monitoring the utilization of the team, as well as identifying opportunities to pioneer new methods of accomplishing projects.
The ideal candidate for this role would also have some experience in videography including basic camera function, film set design, editing, script writing, etc. The Creative Project Manager is responsible for helping to create and implement videos for major events at the church and promotional materials alongside the rest of the Creative Staff.
Responsibilities
• Accomplish weekly tasks given to him via Creative Director
• Serve as a primary communication between the Creative Department and other departments within approved projects
• Help with weekly tasks that are given for the success of weekend services
• Manage and oversee assigned Creative Team projects throughout the week
• Oversees photography and videography for all ECBC events
• Responsible for ECBC Video News scripts, scheduling, and recording
• Oversees ECBC website and keeps the website up to date
• Assist the Creative Director with all event planning and execution
• Involved with daily/weekly/monthly maintenance and cleaning schedules
• Other Tasks/duties assigned by the Creative Director
Qualifications
• Strong work tenure: Experience managing and working with a Creative Team and all related technology equipment
• Must have strong leadership instincts
• Must possess expertise in aligning and leveraging technology for the advantage of the church
• Must possess strong life-giving relational & management skills
• Strong technology and business acumen
• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Mac and PC proficiency
• Must be able to create and manage change
• Ability to recruit, develop and retain high-quality, Creative Team members
• Attention to detail for consistency and efficiency
• Videography proficiency
