What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Photographer position at East Coast Capture?
East Coast Capture is currently looking to fill a part/full time, seasonal photographer position in our New England region (RI, MA, CT.)
About the job:
- Our fall 2024 season starts in September and goes strong until early December.
- On the job training will be provided, and continues throughout the season.
- All photography equipment is provided.
- The weekly schedule ranges between 4-5 days a week.
- The job entails setting up and breaking down a mobile studio set each day and photographing anywhere from 30-60 children before noon
- We typically photograph infants through 6 years of age, as well as class and staff portraits.
- Our travel area is up to an hour and 15 minutes from Providence as needed a few days out of the season.
- Mileage reinbursment
- Opportunity to stay on after fall picture day season.
Requirements:
- Great with kids!
- Outgoing, energetic, patient people needed.
- Experience is a plus, but not required.
- Early mornings: arrive at school by ~6:30/7:00 and end the day by ~1:00/2:00 pm
- Personal transportation for daily travel: general driving range 20 min. -1.5 hrs.

Bonus Incentives Available.
Salary: starting rate is $150/day with raise after performance and photography reviews. The rate can increase up to $165.00 /day bases on seasonal performance reviews.
