What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lowboy Driver position at East Coast Demolition?
Job Description
Eligible candidates must be able to safely and efficiently operate lowboy tractor trailers moving heavy equipment; as well as driving multi-axle highway equipment loads that weigh up to 155,000 pounds. This position is ideal for someone who has experience moving heavy machinery and materials and has a good working knowledge of current DOT regulations and permitting requirements. Positions are for full time only. Prior to submitting an application please note that the position is for the Hampton Roads/NE NC area and East Coast will not pay nor assist with relocation expenses. - Valid Class A Driver's License
- Must have current DOT physical
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal background for work on Government installations
- Must be able to work as a team or independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to legibly and accurately fill out internal daily reports, equipment inspections reports, job site reports etc. as applicable to the position.
