East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps is looking for an experienced Chimney Specialist to join our team. With over 50 years in the industry, we are the leading provider of chimney and fireplace services on the East Coast. We are seeking an experienced Chimney Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of experience who is skilled in working with, cleaning, inspecting & repairing all types of chimneys and fireboxes, with a preference for masonry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of chimneys and fireboxes in residential and commercial properties.
- Identify and recommend necessary repairs or replacements to ensure the safety and functionality of chimneys and fireplaces.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate with co-workers regarding services provided and recommendations for future maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Chimney Specialist.
- Extensive knowledge of the anatomy and maintenance of various types of chimneys and fireboxes.
- Ability to work with various tools and equipment effectively and safely.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations pertaining to chimney maintenance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Preference will be given to candidates with masonry experience.
