What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fireplace Installer *ECF Under New Ownership position at East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps?
Will report to Manalapan, NJ location
East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps is the leading company in NJ for fireplace installations since 1968. We take pride in our high-quality work, exceptional customer service, and professionalism. Currently, we are seeking a Fireplace Installer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Install fireplace units, including wood-burning, gas, and electric units
- Perform various HVAC, carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, drywall/painting, and tile installation work to ensure a safe and accurate installation.
- Follow blueprints and building codes to ensure accurate and safe installation
- Familiarize with different fireplace styles and designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members on installation projects use our
- Use our CRM system to update & track installation projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fireplace installations
- Knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, drywall/painting, and tile installation *While all these skills are not necessarily required for every fireplace installation, having a combination of these skills would be a huge plus and may determine pay. *
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use our CRM system
- High attention to detail and quality work
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
