What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fireplace Installer position at East Coast Fireplace & Sweeps?
Will report to Manalapan, NJ location*
We are seeking a skilled fireplace installer who possesses not only exceptional technical skills but also a customer-centric personality. Someone who's a leader by example, able to calm tense situations and remain laser-focused on delivering exceptional results.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and servicing fireplaces, stoves, and other related products in both residential and commercial settings. Your duties will include but are not limited to carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall/painting, and tile installation. While these skills are a huge plus and will determine your pay, they are not all absolutely necessary to get the job.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fireplace installation or relevant installation experience
- Extensive knowledge of various fireplace models, components, and installation techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall/painting, and tile installation skills are a plus
