Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Designer with experience in CAD to serve as the face of our brand. In this role, you will guide clients through our design process—helping them select, design, and customize fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, and other premium products & solutions. Your creative input and technical skills will be essential in turning customer visions into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in our beautiful showroom, providing expert advice on fireplace and outdoor living products.
- Product & Design Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our diverse product lines—including gas, electric, and wood fireplaces, mantels, and outdoor kitchen setups—and use CAD to assist in design presentations.
- Sales Goals: Drive big ticket sales by achieving or exceeding monthly targets through effective consultation, relationship building, and design expertise.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with customers to conceptualize and design customized solutions that match their style and functional needs.
- Technical Support: Utilize CAD software to create detailed design layouts and visualizations that help clients see their future projects.
- Follow-Up: Maintain proactive communication with customers post-consultation to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with installation, service, and other internal teams to ensure an outstanding and unified customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales design, particularly in the home improvement, construction, or design sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software and a strong portfolio that showcases your design skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- A creative mindset with the ability to transform ideas into detailed, executable designs.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment.
- Strong understanding of big ticket sales processes and client relationship management.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
