Job Description:
East Coast Lumpers is seeking an experienced Government Contract Proposal Writer to help secure state and federal contracts for our staffing services. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of winning bids, deep knowledge of state and federal RFP processes, and be well-versed in the Virginia EVA procurement system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate state and federal RFP opportunities relevant to staffing.
- Prepare and submit high-quality, competitive proposals that align with solicitation requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic pricing and proposal content.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and submission deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procurement trends, policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience writing and winning government contracts, particularly in staffing/logistics.
- Familiarity with Virginia EVA procurement system.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of GSA Schedules, SAM.gov, and other federal procurement portals is a plus.
Compensation:
- Competitive and flexible pay structure (Hourly or Percentage of Winning Proposals).

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
