What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Sales Manager position at East Coast Metal Distributors?
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute strategic sales plans that expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence. Work with the Regional General Manger to develop a plan to ensure achievement of regional goals that will lead to exceeding our Divisional goals. • Ensure that ECMDI achieves growth targets
• Responsible for coaching/monitoring sales representatives' objectives and initiatives. With the Regional General Manager, set short- and long-term sales strategies and constantly evaluate the regional sales team. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and assist in managing the sales program accordingly. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications that relate to the HVAC industry.
- Regional responsibilities for the Amana and the Ductless product lines. This includes a complete understanding of the WSO Venture products that supports the growth of these product lines.
- Work with the Regional General Manager to drive growth and profitability for our Supply and Machinery lines.
- Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
- Responsible for the communication of the Goodman / Amana CAD days to your regional sales team.
- Assist the Regional General Manager in recruiting and expansion of our team.
- Develop and lead the inside sales team for your regional branch operations.
Special Requirements: Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by the Branch Operations Manager.
Requirements:Increase revenue and market share by insuring the ECMD sales team has superior knowledge of the products and programs we offer. To insure our team not only exceeds their personal goals but also fully understands the overall goal of East Coast Metal Distributors.
