The candidate must be an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple requests, self-sufficient, and able to hit the ground running. The candidate must be able to analyze the current situation and make immediate improvements, as well as develop short and long term strategic decisions. We consider our market awareness, sales ability, and customer relations to be one of our most critical and important functions. The candidate will be expected to work within the sales department and closely with other departments to ensure the resources are maximized for optimal efficiencies and profits. The candidate will also be expected to develop new opportunities and innovative solutions to present and future issues. Candidate is expected to be successful and productive in a fast-paced environment without micro-management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective and productive relationships with customers
- Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs
- Cold calling from provided list of potential new customers
- Obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule
- Gain competitive edge with proper relationships and industry knowledge
- Ability to capture trends and advantages
- Work in conjunction with purchasing and sales teams
- Establish and maintain effective procedures
