Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Entry/Intermediate Level Designer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to begin their career in design. The Entry Level Designer will assist in various design projects, contributing to both mechanical and system design efforts. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in design principles and be eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Create approval drawings and submit completed packages to sales for customer approval.
- Engineering of enclosure, retrofit trims, termination cabinets, cam lok cabinets, etc.
- Assisting other engineers by completing parts, assembly and as-built drawings.
- Work with other engineers on the design and development of products.
- Drafting electronic components for use in wiring diagrams.
- Help modify standards for ease of use/installation for wiring.
- Compiling and releasing of drawings and parts for switchboard sections.
- Minor modifications of standard switchboard sections including buss design, covers, altering dimensions and electrical components.
Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-4 years experience with 3-D modeling software.(Inventor/AutoCAD).
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and design.
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
- Mathematical knowledge.
- Time management.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Hands on mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Electrical power systems knowledge is a plus.
- Able to design using steel, copper, aluminum and GPO board.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
