Job Description
Seeking an experienced QA Inspector II or III with some or all the following:
- Ship maintenance and repair experience
- Knowledge of NAVSEA Std. Items
- Test and Inspection plans
- Corrective Action process
- Quality Management Systems
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED required with three to five years related marine, shipyard or industrial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office Software experience required.
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to tour all vessels, piers, docks, and work sites to perform the duties of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. (Ability to view computer monitors without eye strain for extended periods of time).
