Outside Sales Representative (Commercial Trucks) – Portsmouth, VA

The ideal Outside Sales Representative candidate will be an energetic and motivated individual who thrives in the hustle of a sales environment. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales in a designated territory & you'll spend most days driving to customer locations throughout your territory. You’ll also be assigned customer leads/calls, work sales opportunities, and close deals based on the customer’s needs.

Position Requirements:
- At least 1 year of Commercial Truck sales experience is required.
- 3 years Commercial Truck sales experience is preferred but not required. We will train you for success.
- Identify and develop customer inquiries and ultimately close new customers.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed goals.
- Closely manage the sales process from qualifying to closing.
- Ability to consistently meet/exceed sales quotas.
- Strong communication skills, open to training, and desire to win.
- This position does require about 75% travel.
Skills:
- Competitive, personable, and open to feedback.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram.
- Ability to build rapport with customers of a large demographic.

Monday to Friday: Hours can vary from day-to-day, but a minimum 40 hour work week is required.
