Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. Primary Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates activities concerning all back/front of the house operations and personnel, including but not limited to food preparation, kitchen, and storeroom areas. Trains and evaluates back/front of the house personnel. Purchases or requisitions food items, supplies and equipment. Plans or participates in food production and apportions meat, vegetables, and desserts, as well as food surpluses, to control costs. Supervises food preparation personnel and ensure food adheres to standards of quality to maintain cleanliness or kitchen and equipment.
Secondary Responsibilities: Support and ensure that the restaurant operates within ECW G guidelines, while meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives. Responsible for the proper execution and operation of the kitchen department, including all training of hourly team. And to perform duties including, but not limited to answering the phone, bussing tables, line cooking, washing dishes, expediting orders, or running food. In short, whatever it takes to support our team.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to (8) hours in length. Must be able to move up and down stairs. Must be able to Lift pots and pans, trays, bus pans, cases of beer, boxes, materials weighing 40 pounds or more. Must be able to taste all our food to ensure quality.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
- Constantly monitor the back/front of the house operations of the store that affect sales including customer satisfaction, food quality (tasting our food), ambiance, cleanliness, decor, and service standards.
- Ensure that ll food and products are consistently prepared and served according to ECW G recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Order and receive food and ingredients based on on-hand and par levels.
- Create kitchen staff schedules and ensure that the staff to sales is monitored to staff correctly.
- Train kitchen staff in specific job functions as well as cross-training.
- Work with individual managers and support staff to seek out ways to improve sales.
- Interface with corporate staff to prepare and achieve weekly, monthly and annual profit plans as they relate to fixed and controlled expense.
- Interface with the General Manager to oversee the accuracy of daily and weekly management duties such as reports, cash handling, daily deposits, overages/shortages, safe security, paid outs, inventory control and documentation, etc. Must be able to accurately count money and provide correct change.
- Responsible for effectively running scheduled shifts.
- Follow applicable appropriate health code and local jurisdiction food handling requirements, maintain food safety certifications, and model exemplary food health safety practices to staff.
- Oversees repairs and maintenance, cleaning supplies, vendor relations, register, retail inventory, uniforms and manpower staffing requirements.
- Minimum 2-3 years kitchen supervisor work experience.
- Capable of conducting and assessing food inventory levels.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
