Summary
As a Host at East Coast Wings Grill, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role is essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth restaurant operations, contributing to our mission of providing outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests during their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle phone calls professionally, taking takeout orders or answering guest questions as needed.
- Cashing out take out orders or handing out 3rd party delivery orders.
- Monitor dining area to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred but not necesscary
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment efficiently.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and customer engagement techniques.
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar systems is beneficial but not required.
- A passion for food service and creating memorable dining experiences.
