What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Expo position at East Coast Wings + Grill?
*This location offers corporate trainer opportunities for all positions, to assist in the opening of NEW East Coast Wings Grill restaurants!*
**Closes at 9pm nightly!**
Hostess/Expo
Primary responsibility:
- Welcome and greet guests. Packs carryout orders. Stocks carryout area and packages orders. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Completes all prep work and sets up expo station. Monitor ticket times. Maintains product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards. Prepares all menu items according to ECW G recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
Secondary Responsibility:
- To perform duties including but not limited to answering the phone, bussing tables, washing dishes, expediting orders, or running food. In short, whatever it takes to support our team.
- Completes side duties including, but not limited to running food, bussing tables, cleaning back of the house areas.
Qualification Standards:
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience preferred.
- Reading, writing, basic math, and superior communication skills required.
- Pride in personal appearance.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Integrity, honesty, intelligence.
- Problem solving abilities and organized.
- Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
- Strong drive and energy.
