The East Fork Fire District is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting fire safety inspections of buildings and properties, enforcing fire safety codes and regulations, and educating the public on fire safety and prevention practices. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects and contribute to the development of new fire safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct fire safety inspections of buildings and properties to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations
Enforce fire safety codes and regulations through education and enforcement
Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent fires and promote fire safety awareness
Collaborate with local stakeholders to build relationships and promote fire safety initiatives
Participate in special projects and contribute to the development of new fire safety initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Business Administration, or related field
2 years of experience in fire safety inspection or related field
Valid Class C driver's license
International Fire Code Inspector I certification within 18 months of employment
