What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/LPN position at EAST GEORGIA PEDIATRICS?
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, from newborns to 19
- Work up patients for comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
- Perform and retrieve diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
-Administer immunizations
-Return patient phone calls regarding questions on patient care
Experience:
- Experience in sterile processing, infant care, toddler care, psychopharmacology, laboratory, or utilization review is preferred
- Familiarity with current healthcare standards of care and evidence-based practice guidelines
