Job Summary
This role will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Bobcat Pantry, including the check-in desk and food storage room. Key responsibilities include monitoring pantry usage, ensuring it is properly available to current students, faculty/staff and recording usage details accurately through the proper paperwork and electronic database. The position also works as a student life representative assisting students and guests, answering questions, and directing guests to the appropriate department with exemplary customer service.

Must be enrolled in six credit hours with East Georgia State College.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer skills are needed, including the ability to answer emails and create basic excel spreadsheets. The ability to provide good customer service is essential. The ability at times to help create flyers and posters for campus and event use.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the Bobcat Pantry facilities, including the check-in desk, inventory, food/supply storage, and paperwork.
- Greet students/faculty/staff, verify eligibility status, and record details as required in the proper check-in.
- Ensure all equipment is appropriately maintained, record daily temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Bobcat Pantry shelves, inventory, and equipment.
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, and provide general information to students, faculty/staff.
- Direct traffic to appropriate campus departments as needed.
- Assist with coordinating inventory checks, ordering, delivery, and display as required.
- Perform additional special assignments as delegated by the department.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, preferably in an educational or retail setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Familiarity with basic computer programs and basic maintenance practices is advantageous.
- A willingness to work flexible hours (mostly afternoon) based on the pantry's needs.
