Wood Memorial Middle School is looking for a dedicated and dynamic 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year! We are a student-centered middle school committed to academic excellence, fostering curiosity, and preparing students for success.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Inspire and challenge students with engaging, rigorous instruction in math and science.
- Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.
- Use data-driven teaching strategies to differentiate instruction and meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and integrate STEM-based learning experiences.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for learning in a hands-on, inquiry-based classroom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field.
- IN teaching certification in middle school math and/or science.
- Experience with project-based learning and technology integration is a plus.
