Wood Memorial High School is looking for a dedicated and dynamic High School English/Language Arts Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year! We are a student-centered high school committed to academic excellence, fostering curiosity, and preparing students for success.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Inspire and challenge students with engaging, rigorous instruction in English and Language Arts
• Engage students in the writing process - both creative and technical.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for learning through engagement with contemporary and classic literature.
• Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.
• Use data-driven teaching strategies to instruct and meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and the student experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• IN teaching certification in English/Language Arts.
