What are the responsibilities and job description for the WMPS and WMIS Title 1 Aide position at East Gibson School Corporation?
The purpose of this position is to assist students that are not performing at on -grade level academically.
- Assists individual students and small groups with learning tasks as assigned by the teacher.
- Takes over classes when the teacher has parent conferences, problems, emergencies, etc.
- Prepares classroom materials; assists in the clean up of materials.
- Monitors students at various times including cafeteria, seat work, assemblies, etc.
- Assists students with make-up work.
- Works with small groups providing remediation instruction
- Collaborates with General Education Classroom Teachers
