Description:
Full-time classroom position with East Grand School District for the 2024-2025 school year. The classroom grade is yet to be determined.

Job Summary: 

• The teaching position requires a teacher with a strong ability to develop

students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

• The teaching position requires a teacher with a strong ability to develop students

mathematical thinking and problem solving skills using Bridges in Math.

• The teaching position requires a teacher with a strong background knowledge of

K-5 grade standards in ELA, math, health and social studies.

• The position requires the ability to collaborate daily with grade level team

teachers and support staff.

• The position requires the teacher to use a variety of effective instructional

strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

• The position requires and the use of formative assessment like i-ready and

DIBELS Next.

• Teacher should be a strong collaborator with students, staff and parents that will

continue the focus on raising student achievement for all students at East Grand School District.

Qualifications:
Possession of, or eligibility to obtain an appropriate Colorado teaching license.

Working Conditions:
Our Elementary Schools serve approximately 615 students. Granby Elementary and Fraser Valley Elementary are award-winning schools in an award winning district with small class sizes. Supportive school and community, daily individual, and team plan time.
