Job description
The Director position is based at the Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, a state-of-the-art Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and NCQA-accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home in East Harlem offering comprehensive pediatric and adult primary care, specialty care, and the Boriken Pharmacy.
Responsibilities: Oversees all of the nursing functions and nursing quality assurance of the Boriken Neighborhood Health Center. Maintains all appropriate clinical standards, including those related to regulatory and contractual compliance and Joint Commission, Patient Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use and other relevant guidelines.
Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License. BSN required. A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. CPR certification. Infection Control Certification. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of general nursing theory, practice, methods and techniques involved in the performance of general services. Bilingual Spanish preferred. eCW experience a plus.
COVID Vaccination Required. On site position, no remote work included.
Schedule: Full time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day with an unpaid lunch).
