SCHOOL HEALTH NP OR PA/SUPERVISOR
The School Health Nurse Practitioner/Supervisor position is based at the School Health Sites.
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Program Coordinator oversees integration of School Health services within the site. Provides comprehensive case managed primary care services in an ambulatory care setting at the school and Health Center. Contributes to quality assurance, staff development, and other programmatic and clinical functions. Provides telephone coverage, based on the Health Center’s on-call schedule.
Qualifications: Current NYS NP License, Current PNP Board Certified, CPR Certification, Infection Control Certification, Excellent written, vebal and interpersonal skills, two to three year experience in healthcare, supervisory and administrative required. Bilingual Spanish preferred. NYS Provider Medicaid and Medicare # required.
COVID Vaccination Required. DOE fingerprinting required.
Schedule: Full time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day with an unpaid lunch).
Salary: 135-145k per year dependent on experience.
