Key Roles
We are looking for a part-time General Laborer to work 20-24 hours per week.
Day shift. May be called in for emergencies.
The purpose of this position is to safely perform a variety of manual labor activities.
Key Responsibilities
Loads and delivers materials.
Paints or repairs woodwork, drywall, and other parts of building structures.
Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and repairing ballast and light fixtures.
Assembles and moves furniture, hangs bulletin/white boards, and assists with meeting setups.
Lays carpet.
Repairs and replaces door knobs/locks and door closures.
Assists with equipment repairs at headquarters.
Complies with all company safety regulations and policies, and maintains clear and orderly work areas.
Reports unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Entry level position. Previous experience is not required, but preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Ability to safely use and operate vareity of hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
