Job Summary - MUST HAVE GRADUATED THE POLICE ACADEMY(ACT120).
The Police Officer plays a vital role in maintaining public safety and enforcing laws within the community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to serving and protecting citizens while upholding the law. Officers will engage with the community, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with legal statutes.

Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
- Respond promptly to calls for service, emergencies, and incidents.
- Conduct thorough investigations of crimes, accidents, and other incidents.
- Write detailed reports documenting events, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Enforce traffic laws and regulations; issue citations as necessary.
- Manage conflicts effectively to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations until medical personnel arrive.
- Utilize surveillance techniques to monitor suspicious activities and gather evidence.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations.

Skills
- MUST HAVE GRADUATED THE POLICE ACADEMY(ACT120).
- Proficient in report writing to document incidents accurately and comprehensively.
- Strong conflict management skills to resolve disputes peacefully and effectively.
- Ability to drive safely under various conditions while responding to emergencies.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques for emergency response.
- Familiarity with law enforcement practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Competence in surveillance methods for monitoring activities within the community.

This position requires a proactive approach to law enforcement duties while fostering positive relationships within the community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to public service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • POLICE ACADEMY GRADUATION (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Lansdowne, PA 19050: Relocate before starting work (Required)
