East Lansing Family Eyecare is looking for a front office staff/pre-tester to join our Optometry team. We are located at 1905 Abbot Road, Suite 1, in East Lansing, MI. Our ideal candidate is honest, courteous, attentive, punctual, friendly, and willing to work with others. Needs to be a quick learner, and familiar with entering information into a computer system.

Responsibilities

*Greet patients, answer phones, schedule exams, look up vision insurance plans, pull files, pretest patients using our automated equipment as well as a retinal camera and OCT machine. Be willing to help out wherever needed. *Work hours: M-Th, 9am - 6pm. Fridays 7am-2pm. *Please send in application online, do not call the practice to apply.
Qualifications

*familiarity with how an Optometry exam works would be helpful. Computer proficiency is a must, previous experience is desired but not necessary. Starting pay rate based on experience. Need to be available for all work hours during a shift (see above). *Sorry, no students. Unfortunately, we cannot work around a rotating class schedule.
