Cemetery/ Funeral Sales (Family Service Counselor)

Make at-need and pre-need cemetery arrangements/presentations with families.

Make pre-need funeral arrangements/presentations with families.

Maintain all records (i.e. interment books, work orders, marker orders, etc.).

Assist with customer inquiries and complaints.

Receive and coordinate interment of cremated remains delivered to the cemetery.

Attend committal services.

Rotate on-call and weekends when applicable.

Qualifications:

Excellent ability to accurately maintain records.

Excellent sales ability.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ability to perform with minimum supervision.

Ability to spend 50% of time on outside standing on cemetery grounds and 50% of time in office.

Basic computer skills. Knowledge of MS Word & Outlook preferred.

Must obtain a CA Cemetery Sales license and California Limited Life insurance license with an insurance company appointment within six months of employment. We pay all fees.
