The position involves working variable 12-hour shifts in our award-winning community hospital.
About the Hospital: East Liverpool City Hospital has been proudly serving residents of the tristate region since 1905. With 152 licensed beds and over 500 employees, we average 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. Our medical staff comprises more than 160 physicians, with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine.
Job Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will also direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current and valid state RN license, BLS certification upon hire, and completion of Critical Care Course preferred. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation should be completed within 30 days of hire, and ACLS certification should be obtained 30 days after hire. A minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred, is required. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are also desirable.
