East Liverpool City Hospital is an award-winning community hospital proudly serving residents of the tristate region since 1905. With 152 licensed beds and more than 500 employees, the hospital averages 31,000 Emergency Department visits annually. East Liverpool's medical staff is comprised of more than 160 physicians with an additional 21 resident physicians completing their training in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency services, general surgery, medical stabilization for substance abuse, behavioral health for adults over the age of 55, and remains the ONLY cardiac rehabilitation program in Columbiana County. Responsibilities
Manager of Emergency Department is responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department. Supervises and monitors performance of the Emergency Department staff. Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients’ families/significant other(s) to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
1. Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.2. BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.4. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.5. PALS upon hire and maintain current.6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.7. Minimum of three years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021. Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below): 1. Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current. #LI-WM1
